Contract design engineers, by the hour or per project
When your design team is at capacity, we take on part of the work. We use your CAD and PDM, follow your standards and templates, and work by the hour or on whole projects.

What we take on
- Design of parts and assemblies from a brief or concept
- Complete 2D drawing packages including tolerances and GD&T
- Bills of materials and data for production and purchasing
- Tolerance analyses and manufacturability checks
- Converting legacy 2D documentation to 3D
- Engineering change orders and maintenance of existing documentation
How we work
- In your PDM, with your templates, standards and numbering
- Remotely across the EU and the US, or on site
- In English and Czech, and German in writing
- NDA before the first data exchange
- Hourly or fixed project price
Who it is for
Manufacturers and OEMs with a peak in design work, a missing engineer for a specific CAD system, or development that needs to move faster than in-house capacity allows. Our background is mechanical engineering, automation, automotive and product development. Our founder set up and ramped up an engineering office outside headquarters, connected to the central design department. He knows what an external team needs to fit into your rules.
What you get
- 3D models of parts and assemblies in your CAD's native format
- Production drawings and bills of materials
- Change log and handover record
- Advice on manufacturing and suppliers, if you want it
Design engineers for SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, CATIA and Fusion 360
We are based in Chomutov, Czech Republic, close to the German border, and travel wherever the project needs us.

How much does design work cost?
The price depends on the complexity of the job and on who works on it: a junior, a senior engineer or a project manager. We work by the hour or for a fixed project price. If calculations are needed we arrange them, where required with external specialists who hold the authorisations and stamps that authorities ask for. The quote is free of charge.
How soon can you start?
Within 2 working days of your brief you get a quote, or the questions we need answered to prepare one. The quote confirms the start date.
Do you work in our CAD and PDM?
Yes. Creo, CATIA, Inventor, SolidWorks and Fusion 360, in your PDM, with your templates, standards and numbering. Remotely or on site. For a Swiss machine builder, for example, we worked in its SolidWorks 2024 templates, numbering and rules.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, before the first data exchange. Your template or ours.
Is your design team at capacity?
Send a drawing, a STEP file or a few lines about the work your team can't keep up with. Within 2 working days you get a quote, or the questions we need answered to prepare one.
