Honeywell UWP Mounting System

Brief

Honeywell needed one mounting system that would let installers mount different T-series devices quickly and securely while keeping performance and ease of use.

Solution

Astratech's founder took part in developing the UWP mounting system from concept to launch: mounting mechanics, wiring and variants for different devices. In parallel, the first global thermostat platform, Lyric T6, was completed.

Result

• UWP is sold globally as the standard accessory for T-series thermostats.
• The work resulted in 6 granted US patents co-invented by Astratech's founder.
• The Lyric T6 platform was completed and launched.
